“Die Landwirtschaft” – órgano de comunicación de la Cámara Agraria de Niederösterreich (Baja Austria)- publica en su edición de abril en las páginas 22/23 bajo la columna “Producción Vegetal” el siguiente artículo de DI Johann Humer:
El abono óptimo para los prados de producción forrajera potentes - Para que los prados de producción forrajera no se conviertan en prados con flores.
Prados de producción forrajera, en seguida, se pueden convertir en prados con flores – con vegetación no rentable como, por ejemplo, malas hierbas, hierbas silvestres y venenosas. Esas superficies corren el peligro de ser declarados espacio protegido. Por ente, el abono merece la pena por muchos motivos. Para que prados den un alto rendimiento en forraje y de alta calidad es necesario aplicar un abono profesional.
Casi se impone la pregunta ¿por qué nosotros peleamos por prados con flores y la biodiversidad si ello conlleva “amenazas serias” como la de ser declarado espacio protegido?

Die optimale Düngung für leistungsfähige Futterwiesen. Damit Futterwiesen nicht zu Blumenwiesen werden.
Aus ungedüngten Wiesen werden schnell Blumenwiesen – mit unrentablen Unkräutern, Wild- und Giftpflanzen. Und solche Flächen laufen Gefahr, unter Naturschutz gestellt zu werden. Düngen zahlt sich daher aus vielen Gründen aus. Damit Wiesen und Weiden hohe Futtererträge und beste Qualität liefern, ist eine sachgerechte Düngung notwendig.
Da drängt sich doch die Frage auf, warum wir uns eigentlich für Blumenwiesen, Biodiversität u.ä. einsetzen, wenn dies so “fatale Folgen“, wie z.B. die Erklärung zum Naturschutzgebiet haben kann.

The optimum fertilization for highly productive meadows. In order that meadows for forage growing do not turn into meadows with flowers.
Meadows that are not being fertilized easily turn into meadows with flowers – with unprofitable weeds, wild and poisonous plants. Those areas are endangered to be legally protected for nature conservation. Fertilizing pays off in various aspects. In order that meadows and forage producing areas deliver high crops and of best quality, it is necessary to fertilize them properly.
We probably should start asking ourselves, why we are fighting for meadows with flowers, biodiversity, etc. if by that we “seriously run the risk” of being declared a legally protected area?
