Fundación Monte Mediterráneo ha firmado un convenio de colaboración con la Consejería de Medio Ambiente y Ordenación del Territorio y con la Sociedad Malagueña de Astronomía.
A través de este convenio Fundación Monte Mediterráneo ofrece la finca Dehesa San Francisco para la instalación de equipos de medición del cielo nocturno, y ofrece su infraestructura de telecomunicaciones para el acceso remoto a los datos registrados por los equipos. La Dehesa San Franscisco es un lugar idóneo para la observación del cielo nocturno, dentro del Parque Natural Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, que posee certificación Starlight (esta certificación acredita que apenas tiene contaminación lumínica y que más del 60% de sus noches están despejadas). Esto permitirá a la Sociedad Malagueña obtener datos muy fiables que serán utilizados para el seguimiento de meteoritos.
Por su parte la Consejería de Medio Ambiente se encargará de la difusión de los datos y resultados obtenidos.

Meteoriten Aufzeichnungen auf der Dehesa San Francisco
Fundación Monte Mediterráneo hat ein Zusammenarbeitsabkommen mit dem Landesministerium von Andalusien für Umwelt und Raumordnung sowie der Gesellschaft für Astronomie von Málaga unterschrieben.
Fundación Monte Mediterráneo stellt ihr Gelände zur Verfügung, um dort Geräte zur Messung des nächtlichen Himmels im Naturpark Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, der die Starlight Zertifikation hat (diese Zertifizierung erhält man, wenn so gut wie keine Lichtverschmutzung herrscht und mehr als 60% der Nächte klar sind). Dies erlaubt der Gesellschaft für Astronomie der Erhalt wichtiger Daten zur Aufzeichnung von Meteoriten.
Das Landesministerium wird für die Publikation der erhaltenen Daten und Ergebnisse sorgen.

Recording meteorites on the Dehesa San Francisco
Fundación Monte Mediterráneo has signed a cooperation agreement with the Andalusian Ministry for Environment and Regional and Spatial Planning and the Astronomic Society of Málaga.
Fundación Monte Mediterráneo will allow to place equipment to record the quality of the sky in the Nature Park Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche, which has the Starlight Certificate (this certificate is given if several requirements are met: almost no light pollution and more than 60 % of the night skies have to be clear). This allows the Astronomic Society of Málaga to obtain important data and record meteorites.
The ministry will be in charge of publishing the obtained data and the results.
