El 17 de junio se realizó en el Centro de Formación Vallebarco de Fundación Monte Mediterráneo una jornada sobre el problema de la seca y la regeneración del arbolado en la dehesa. La jornada fue organizada conjuntamente con la Cátedra de Ganadería Ecológica Ecovalia (Universidad de Córdoba).
Participaron representantes de cooperativas, asociaciones, universidades y propietarios tanto de España como de Portugal. Se pretende que de esta jornada salga una iniciativa que consiga crear mayor conciencia sobre el problema y mejor coordinación de las partes interesadas e involucradas.

Am 17. Juni fand im Ausbildungszentrum Vallebarco der Fundación Monte Mediterráneo eine Tagung über das Problem der Baumkrankheit "seca" und die Regeneration des Baumbestandes auf der Dehesa statt. Die Tagung wurde vom Lehrstuhl für ökologische Nutztierhaltung der Universität Córdoba und FMM organisiert.
Die Teilnehmer waren Vertreter verschiedener Genossenschaften, Verbände, Universitäten und Organisationen, sowie Dehesa-Besitzer aus Spanien und Portugal. Der Tagung soll eine Initiative folgen, die das Bewusstsein über die Krankheit fördert und verschiedene, bestehende Ansätze der interessierten und betroffenen Kreise koordiniert.

On June 17th Fundación Monte Mediterráneo and the Chair in Organic Lifestock Husbandry (Univ. Córdoba) organiezed a conference on the tree disease "seca" and the regeneration of trees on the dehesa in the Education Center Vallebarco at Fundación Monte Mediterráneo.
The participants were representatives from various organizations, associations, universities, cooperatives as well as owners of dehesas from Spain and Portugal. The conference will be followed by an initiative to raise the consciousness of the disease and coordinate the various approaches to the problem by interested and affected people.
