Fundación Monte Mediterráneo, within the
framework of the BioNNOMÍA project, has successfully completed the Nature Guide
Training Course.
Following the online theory phase, participants
enjoyed an essential hands-on experience at Dehesa San Francisco in Santa
Olalla del Cala.
On Saturday, November 25th, the practical
session focused on real experience and the application of knowledge.
The group of trainees took part in several
activities designed to develop key skills, such as the following:
– Environmental interpretation (flora, fauna,
and tracks)
– Design of interpretive routes and group
management
– Exercises to foster connection with the
environment
This immersive day at Dehesa San Francisco gave
participants the tools and confidence to interpret and share the richness of
the Mediterranean ecosystem.
Nature guides play a vital role in connecting
visitors with their surroundings and helping them appreciate the true value of
nature.
Through their work, they create meaningful
learning experiences that inspire respect, conservation, and a deeper
connection with biodiversity.
We sincerely thank the new guides for their
commitment — they are now ready to protect and interpret our natural heritage!
