From Fundación Monte Mediterráneo, we had the
opportunity to present BioNNOMÍA during a very special celebration. Once again,
the magic of transhumance filled Huertas de Ánimas with the arrival of José
Manuel Sánchez’s sheep flock. More than just a passing moment, this day has
become a true festivity—an ancestral tradition that connects us to our roots
and to the essence of rural life. This event provided the perfect setting to
introduce our project.
It was a gathering where local culture,
extensive livestock farming, and the forward-looking vision we advocate through
BioNNOMÍA came together naturally. Witnessing how this heritage remains alive,
the dedication of shepherds like José Manuel, and their deep connection with
the natural environment, reaffirms the importance of our mission: to promote
sustainable practices that care for our landscapes and ensure a prosperous
future for all.
Thank you, José Manuel, for inspiring us and
for keeping such a valuable tradition alive! From the entire team at Fundación
Monte Mediterráneo, we wish you the best of luck on your journey.
