Being the last barrier to the desert (Investigacion de la seca/SOS Dehesa), the dehesa is an important agro-eco-system for Europe.
The farming of a dehesa does not generate enough income to maintain the dehesa: 60 – 80 trees per hectare… 700 hectares…. around 40.000 trees… reforest… prune… caring….
